1. What is ARMS® Automotive?

The ARMS® Automotive System provides repair facilities with an efficient, time-saving means of updating Enterprise rental branches and insurance company partners about the status of vehicles under repair. Information can be requested and transmitted online through the Internet on a daily basis and then passed from Enterprise to insurance companies.

This system makes the required tracking of car repairs faster, easier, and less disruptive than systems that rely on continuous phone contacts between Enterprise, the body shop and insurance providers.

2. How do I use ARMS® Automotive?

To learn more about ARMS® Automotive, you may access the program in a demonstration mode. On the Home page, click Information & Demo. On the demonstration mode Home page (the words "Demonstration Mode" appear in a red bar at the top of the page below the Enterprise logo), enter DEMO as your User ID and Password. Click Login to enter the demo program. If you click Login, you will advance to the demo Vehicle List page. Follow the instructions in "How Do I Select a Vehicle's Record to Update Its Status?" in the online Help to use that page. While in the demo mode, however, please note the following: Click Exit Demo to return to the ARMS® Automotive Home page. You must return to the Home page in order to advance elsewhere in the system.

3. How do I log into ARMS® Automotive?

On the ARMS® Automotive Home page, enter your User ID and Password that you selected when you enrolled. Every time you enter the ARMS® Automotive System you will be asked to enter your user ID and password. If you select "Remember my ID and Password" your computer will save your information. The next time you use the system your user ID and password will automatically appear in the appropriate boxes. If several people in your office use the same computer you may not want to check "Remember my ID and Password". This ensures that others will not have access to the system unless they are authorized users. Click Login to enter the system and access the Vehicle List page.

4. How do I select a vehicle's record to update its status?

After successfully logging in to the system, the Vehicle List page will appear. Click an individual listing under any of the following column headings to select a vehicle record for updating:

Renter's Name | Update

Selecting a record will advance you to the Vehicle Detail page where you may update vehicle status data. Please note: by clicking any of the column headers you will be able to sort and display data either alphabetically or numerically.

5. How do I change my password or notification instructions?

After successfully logging in to the system, The Repair Facilities page or The Vehicle List page will appear. Click on the Settings link located in the task bar at the top of the page, then choose the appropriate tab to make updates.

10. How do I Create a Rental Car Reservation?

Creating a reservation is simple. Click on the "Create Reservation" button at the top of the Vehicle List page. Once completing the required information, click "Send Reservation". The reservation will be sent to the local Enterprise Rental branch and the branch will contact the customer if more information is needed. Please contact your local Enterprise branch for any questions regarding rates.
